Exciting news for Nintendo fans from the guys from the EB Games Expo. It seems that attendees to the EB Games Expo in Sydney next month will have the opportunity to be the first to play on the new Wii U, ahead of its AU/NZ launch on 30th November.
The Tokyo Games Show is starting soon, so expect lots of announcements. This one is pretty big. Sony have announced a small PS3 with loads of hard disk space. Good on them, as you can never have enough hard disk space!
I’m pretty excited about the EB Games Expo next month. It has been quite a few years since I’ve been to anything as massive st this show is going to be. Busy. Not a very good excuse, but nevertheless true. The chaotic mixture of moving country, playing Sleeping Dogs and getting back into Skyrim has taken its toll on my ability to knock out a decent bit of content for this website.
I’ve just finished reading the first five issues of DC Comics semi-blasphemous Before Watchmen series.
I was half expecting my copy of Watchmen #1, signed by Watchmen co-creator and self-styled warlock Alan Moore, to spontaneously combust the moment I opened the first issue. Mr Moore has some well-reported negative views on the use of the characters that he and Dave Gibbons created, way back in the mid-eighties. I’ve got to admit, publishing further stories set in the Watchmen universe after a break of twenty-six years does seem a little odd and almost as if DC are deliberately trying to bait the outspoken Mr Moore.
