My eye-watering sense of déjà vu returned, once more, as I sat down with yet another remastered last-gen game. It seems like only yesterday that I finished with the blood-soak antics of Kratos in 2010’s God of War III on PS3, and yet here I am again, this time reviewing God of War III Remastered for PlayStation 4. Journey PlayStation 4 review
I never got around to playing Journey when originally released on PS3 way back in 2012. It looked like one of those games that required a bit of time to savour and appreciate, something that I didn’t have in between a packed review schedule that didn’t include ThatGameCompany’s follow-up to their stunning Flower.
If you are not one to take a chance on a video game, Journey may not immediately look that appealing. The stylized graphics are not what you might expect from a game that is, in fact, an absolute delight to play. Continue reading Journey PlayStation 4 review
F1 2015 PlayStation 4 review
Codemasters’ F1 2015 is the first entry in the series to be released on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Boasting a new game engine built from the ground up for the latest consoles and PCs, is this the Formula One game that we have been waiting for? Continue reading F1 2015 PlayStation 4 review
MotoGP 15 PS4 review
Following on from their excellent, if blandly presented, Ride released in March, Milestone are back with MotoGP 15, adding a bit of glitz and glamour to the proceedings.
For this entry, the developer really seems to have really embraced new-gen technology to give us a two-wheeled racer seemingly running full throttle at 60fps. This affords MotoGP 15 with a level of precision unlike any other console motorcycle game available. It also manages to translate the break-neck speeds experienced on the track over to your TV screen. Continue reading MotoGP 15 PS4 review
LEGO Jurassic World Xbox One review
In a few short years I’ve found that Traveller’s Tales’ LEGO games have gone from being mildly amusing and entertaining, but ultimately frustrating, affairs to laugh-out-loud and finely honed, well-crafted puzzle games.
With almost every new film franchise having their own LEGO game, TT Games are one of the most industrious developers in the business. And here we go again with LEGO Jurassic World. Continue reading LEGO Jurassic World Xbox One review
The Elder Scrolls Online Tamriel Unlimited Xbox One review
The Elder Scrolls Online has finally made its debut on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Released in 2014 on PC as a subscription-based massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMO), the game was re-launched earlier this year. The publishers, Bethesda, dropped the monthly fee and rechristened the game The Elder Scrolls Online Tamriel Unlimited.
It’s The Elder Scrolls Online Tamriel Unlimited that is now available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. For the first time new-gen console owners can explore the fantasy world of the award-winning Elder Scrolls series. Continue reading The Elder Scrolls Online Tamriel Unlimited Xbox One review

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt PC review
Witchers, mutated warriors; created to counter the threat of supernatural beasts against mankind. These monster hunters roam a medieval land, slaying creatures for coin using their mastery of blade, alchemy and magic.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, sees the return of the witcher Geralt of Rivia, in the concluding installment of his three-part tale. I’ve just spent the last week locked away with the PC version of CD Projeckt RED’s latest opus. Continue reading The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt PC review
