Gears 5 Xbox One/PC review

Does the fifth instalment of the Xbox, and now also Windows PC, exclusive Gears of War franchise offer something new or is it more of the same?

After Microsoft purchased the Gears of War franchise from Epic Games back in 2014, they handed the reins over to their new in-house development studio, The Coalition. MXGP 2019 PC review

There’s no doubt that Milestone are the experts when it comes to motorcycle games, their MotoGP and Ride franchises capture perfectly the speed and handling of high-powered road bikes. Straight lining or leaning into a bend is all very well on smooth asphalt, but doing the same on dirt, dust and mud is a different thin altogether.

MXGP 2019 is the latest iteration of Milestone’s yearly licenced MXGP game based on the FIM Motorcross World Championships. The game includes all the tracks from the 2019 season plus a special playground area and a track editor for player to create their own track and share with the community. The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan Xbox One/PC review

PlayStation 4 owners familiar with Supermassive Games’ superb Until Dawn will be right at home with the British developer’s first story in The Dark Pictures Anthology, Man of Medan.

The Supermassive Games has had a stint providing novelty efforts for Sony and their PlayStation 4 of late, with varying success. Whilst I found the Until Dawn VR spin-off, The Inpatient pretty good, the social horror game, Hidden Agenda and iffy VR shooter, Bravo Team, were not so good.
