Director Jon Favreau interviews Harrison Ford about Cowboys and Aliens.
It has got to be said that Harrison Ford is looking old. In recent years he seems so distant in his interviews that I wondered if at was all about the paycheck and contractual obligations for him now. My bother was involved in a radio interview with Ford a few years ago (the lucky bastard). He told me just how difficult it was to actually record what was being mumbled from Harrision Ford’s mouth.
This seems to have all changed now. In an interview with Jon Favreau wgo, in Ford, is interviewing one of the stars of his new movie, Cowboys and Aliens, it seems that the old Han Solo charm is back. Ford comes across as engaged and generally happy.

Arma 2 free to play
I love free stuff. I especially love free games. Bohemia Interactive have launched the public beta of Arma 2: Free. If you have never played Arma and are even remotely interested in PC shooters then you should check out Arma 2: Free. Be warned, the Arma experience is a no holds barred combat simulation that takes no prisoners.

I’ve had a chance to check out the extended Blu-ray cut of the film. Whilst there’s no news on the New Zealand release date, the North American Blu-ray is region fee and thus available for us all from Amazon.com and other US outlets.

Spider-man is going to die
Some time in the next year I’m going to catch up on reading my pile of comic-books. One of those comics is going to feature the death of Peter Parker, otherwise known as Spider-man. Issue #160 of Ultimate Spider-man has the web-slinger finally buying the farm at the hands of his nemsis, The Green Goblin.
Whatever.
In 2007 we saw one of Marvel’s other flagship titles wave goodbye to it’s starring character, Captain America. As is the norm in comic-books, as soon as the “death” hype has died down, the “returns” hype builds up. In Captain America’s case he was returned from limbo just in time for the movie.
Blog done
After the best part of a year getting around to it my blog is finally up and running. Most definitely a work in progress. But at least it doesn’t look like a bag of shit.
