Even after visiting E3 this year, I’m still very excited about this weekend’s EB Expo. They’ve got a huge line-up of unreleased games making their Australian debut at the show.
Fans will have the opportunity to experience upcoming new-gen releases including Assassin’s Creed: Unity, Far Cry 4, Evolve, Sunset Overdrive, Super Smash Bros., Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor, Battlefield Hardline, Halo: The Master Chief Collection and LittleBigPlanet 3.
“This year’s expo is all about the next generation of gaming. We’ve never had a line up this massive”, said EB Games National Brand, Events & Engagement Manager Debra McGrath. “The Expo gives everyone the chance to get hands-on with the upcoming juggernaut releases for the very first time.”
There will also be early hands-on gameplay opportunities with some of the leading releases coming out later this year including Forza Horizon 2, NBA 2K15, WWE 2K15, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX, The Crew, Alien: Isolation, The Evil Within and Borderlands The Pre-Sequel.
2015 releases on show for the first time include The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, #DRIVECLUB™, Project Cars and Dragon Ball Xenoverse.
With the Family Day returning this year on the Sunday, the whole clan can enjoy playing the brand new Just Dance 2015, give the vocal cords a test with the all new SingStar: Ultimate Party and experience LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham and Disney Infinity 2.0.
It’s a massive weekend of gaming, with free UK Robot Wars shows, the retro-themed Freeplay City and the Community Hub stage with industry panels and cosplay competitions.
The EB Expo 2014 will be the fourth annual show and the third to be held in Sydney. The show is a unique opportunity to get a first go on the hit games of tomorrow.
The EB Expo 2014 will be held at Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park, from 3rd to 5th October.
See you there!
