Let me just put my cards on the table, upfront, here. Enemy Front is a pretty unpolished affair. The visuals on the Xbox 360 are a bit lacking in places- ranging from good to grotty. The movement controls take some getting used to- with a floaty skating on ice feel to them. The game’s frame-rate also likes to stutter every now and again. Week in review: exciting times ahead…
It’s been a while since I’ve had the time to sit down and write an editorial piece for this site.
Firstly, I hope you like the redesign. Scrubbing up the site and giving it a more modern look is something that’s been on the cards for a while now. Whilst the old green tinged site did the job, I wanted the site to at least look professional, even if my thoughts and rants weren’t.

GRID Autosport PC review
I like racing games, but far too many of the recent efforts have left me feeling a bit empty. Attention to detail and realism is one thing, but the sad fact of the matter is that most of us would make pretty poor racing drivers.
Yes Forza and Gran Turismo, I’m talking about you.
If you are like me, your bad driving is only surpassed by your abysmal knowledge of car tuning and upgrading.
Then there’s the flip side of the coin, your Ridge Racers, your Burnouts and your Need for Speeds. All great games, but sometimes a little too fantastical.

EA Sports UFC Review
Having picked up the Ultimate Fighting Championship licence following the collapse of THQ, EA Sports have not wasted any time in bringing us their mixed martial arts game, EA Sports UFC.
The game features a vast amount of fighters across all weight classes, including the Woman’s bantamweight. For Kiwi’s the game includes South Auckland’s own Mark Hunt, K-1 World Grand Prix 2001 champion, former kickboxer and now a notable heavyweight UFC fighter.
Using their new next-gen Ignite sports game engine EA have utilised the team responsible for the recent Fight Night games to bring us a bit of mixed martial arts action on Xbox One and PS4. Continue reading EA Sports UFC Review

If there was one stand out game of E3 for me, it would probably be The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. It was my last appointment of the show and at a point where I should have been ready to drop.

So, I’m at E3
After years of threatening to go, I’m finally at E3. Technically, I’m not there right now- I’m sitting in a hotel. Also, I’ve only actually been to the LA Convention Center to pick up my pass. E3 doesn’t start until tomorrow.
