F1 2017 PC review
For the Formula One World Championship, the 2017 season really has changed everything. Rule changes allowing more down-force has allowed drivers to push their cars harder, making races faster. This has changed circuit characteristics to the point that some turns can now be taken at such speed that they are not really turns at all.
In Codemasters’ F1 2017, we have the most exciting Formula One game to date. Continue reading F1 2017 PC review
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy PS4 Pro review
Naughty Dog’s Uncharted: The Lost Legacy started out as a single-player DLC pack for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. During development, however, the DLC morphed into its own standalone game.
The decision to continue the Uncharted series focusing on the franchises supporting characters is an interesting idea, and one that could pay dividends. Continue reading Uncharted: The Lost Legacy PS4 Pro review

Asus Zenbook 3 review
Classy. If I have to describe Asus’ Zenbook 3 with one word, that would be it. Razor thin and beautifully styled, with its own faux-leather carrying pouch, it’s going to be the best-looking device on the boardroom table.
If I could have one other word to describe the Zenbook 3 it would be expensive. It’s going to cost you two grand for this very posh laptop. Up against the equivalent Microsoft Surface Pro, it’s a fair bit cheaper, but up against a “normal” laptop, you are paying for those stylish lines. Continue reading Asus Zenbook 3 review
Project CARS 2: exclusive preview
I’ve spent the last week playing a PC preview build of the upcoming Project CARS 2 racing sim.
2015’s Project CARS is a proper racing simulator. It was built by racing enthusiasts for racing enthusiasts. The result was a technically superb racing game with an unforgiving learning curve that alienated much of its potential audience.
With Project CARS 2, the developer, Slightly Mad Studios, seeks to refine the experience, improving accessibility and increasing the level of immersion with extra weather and environmental effects. Continue reading Project CARS 2: exclusive preview
Get Even PS4 review
I’ve been wondering around wearing a Get Even t-shirt since E3 2014. Whilst there in LA, a few chaps from The Farm 51 explained the 3D scanning technology employed by their upcoming game, Get Even.
I’ve often wondered whatever happened to that game.
I was quite surprised to see the game mentioned in a press release and jumped at the chance to take a look at a game that I really didn’t think would see the light of day.
Get Even is a psychological thriller set in an old asylum. It’s also a puzzle game, a stealth game, an action game and a horror game. Continue reading Get Even PS4 review
